Show Low, Arizona
This is where I lived when I worked on the Apache Indian Reservation. I had a one hour commute to get to work through the most beautiful Ponderosa Pine forest you could ever imagine. Traffic was not an issue. I never had to spend time searching for cultural events: you only had one or two choices.
Here are some columns written in Show Low:
#162: Foggy. Then Sunny. Lots of Bathrooms. Oh. And. I Almost Got Arrested. about the drive out west. Really. I almost got arrested...
#163: The Steam Had Its Say about a long conversation in the wrong place. Really. Maybe I'd better not go in the steam room again.... it's dangerous.... for long conversations, that is......
#164: The Story in You, Pinetop, AZ. about teaching writing to high school students.
#165 My Laughing Place which is about all the spontaneous giggling Linda and I had going on. Um. Can it be passed on to her children?
